Private Small-Group Workshops

Lake Geneva Art Studio offers private small-group mosaic and fused glass workshops for friends, families, couples, small teams, and visitors who want a creative experience together.

Private groups are designed for 4 to 6 guests and are the same price as a regular class: $75 per person, with a $300 minimum. There is no extra private-group fee.

Gather your group, choose fused glass or mosaic, and reach out with a few date and time options. We’ll schedule a private workshop time that works for your group.

Each private workshop is built around one selected project so the right materials are ready and the experience feels smooth, relaxed, and enjoyable. Everyone makes the same type of project, but each person can personalize their piece with their own colors, patterns, and creative choices.

Private workshops are a lovely option for birthdays, friend groups, family time, mother-daughter outings, small celebrations, team outings, visitors, or anyone looking for a memorable Lake Geneva experience.

Project Options

Choose the project style that feels like the best fit for your group. Each option is beginner-friendly, hands-on, and designed so guests can relax, create, and enjoy the process without needing any prior art experience.

Fused Glass Suncatchers

Create 2 to 3 fused glass suncatchers designed to hang in a window and catch the light. During the holiday season, this project can also be made as ornaments.

This option is playful, colorful, and approachable. Guests will work with glass pieces, accents, and simple design elements to create a hanging piece that feels cheerful and personal. It is a good fit for groups who want a lighter project with lots of color and sparkle.

Finished pieces are kiln-fired after the workshop and picked up later.

Fused Glass Art Square

Create a 5 x 5 fused glass artwork using colorful glass pieces, design elements, and simple layering techniques. This project feels a little like decorating with glass: you’ll choose colors, arrange shapes, add details, and build a design that will be kiln-fired after the workshop.

This is a beautiful choice for groups who want something bright, personal, and display-worthy. Designs can be inspired by flowers, lake colors, abstract patterns, favorite color palettes, seasonal colors, or simple images that work well in glass.

Guests can create from their own imagination or bring a simple inspiration image. I can help turn an idea into a 5 x 5 design guide to use under the glass, making this project especially approachable for beginners.

Mosaic Coasters

Create one or more mosaic coasters using colorful glass and tile pieces arranged on wood-backed coaster bases. Depending on the detail of each design, guests may complete one, two, or up to four coasters during the workshop.

This project is a great introduction to mosaic because it gives guests a manageable surface, useful finished pieces, and plenty of room for creative choices.

Designs can be simple, floral, geometric, abstract, lake-inspired, bright, neutral, or completely personal. Guests will choose colors, arrange pieces, explore pattern and texture, and create coaster designs that feel both creative and practical.

I’ll explain finishing details before the group leaves.
