Is this beginner friendly?Yes. All workshops at Lake Geneva Art Studio are beginner-friendly, and no prior art experience is needed. Whether you choose the one-hour Glass Discovery Workshop or a larger creative experience like the Cathedral Glass Mosaic Workshop or Mosaic Showcase Series, you'll create at your own pace with thoughtful, individualized guidance throughout the workshop.
Are materials included?Yes. All materials, tools, and supplies needed for your project are included in the workshop price. Each workshop is designed around specific materials and project options, so everything will be prepared and ready for you when you arrive.
What should I wear or bring?Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to create and move easily. Closed-toe shoes are recommended, and layers are a good idea. You’re also welcome to bring a small snack and non-alcoholic beverage to enjoy during your workshop.
Do I take it home the same day?It depends on the workshop. Most mosaic projects go home with you the same day, along with a grout kit and finishing instructions. Fused glass pieces need kiln time and are usually ready for pickup within two weeks. Shipping may also be available.
What age is this best for?Most workshops are best suited for adults, teens, and older children who can work safely and carefully with glass and tools. If you’re unsure whether a workshop is a good fit for a particular child, please reach out before booking.
What if I need to reschedule?Plans change. If you can’t attend, please contact me as soon as possible, and I’ll be happy to move your registration to another available workshop whenever possible. Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund; cancellations within 24 hours are nonrefundable.
