Frequently Asked Questions

Is this beginner friendly?

Yes. All workshops at Lake Geneva Art Studio are beginner-friendly, and no prior art experience is needed. Foundations workshops (2-hour fused glass or mosaic) are designed as an easy starting point, while Signature 4-hour glass-on-glass) and Weekend workshops offer more time and detail with guidance provided throughout the process.

Are materials included?

Yes. All workshop materials are included in the price of your workshop. Each experience is designed around a specific set of materials and project options, so everything you need will be ready for you when you arrive.

What should I wear or bring?

Wear comfortable clothing you can create in easily. Closed-toe shoes are recommended, and layers are always a good idea. You are welcome to bring a small snack and non-alcoholic beverage to enjoy during your workshop.

Do I take it home the same day?

It depends on the workshop and project. For most mosaic workshops, you will take your piece home the same day, along with a group kit and simple finishing instructions. Your mosaic will need time to dry first, so grouting is usually done at home the next day. For weekend mosaic workshops, participants return on the final day to grout their piece and take it home. For fused glass workshops, pieces need kiln time after class and will be ready for pick-up at a scheduled later date. Shipping may also be available.

What age is this best for?

Most workshops are best suited for adults and older children or teens who can work carefully with glass and tools. If you are unsure whether a class is a good fit, feel free to reach out before booking.

What if I need to reschedule?

Guests may cancel up to 24 hours before class for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of class are nonrefundable. Rescheduling may be considered when possible.
